Yeah, I'd say graphic novel. People, animals, backgrounds, cars, ect. Everything. But yeah, haha mostly figures. I feel like I need to better understand blocking before a reference will be really helpful to me. And to better understand blocking I'd need to understand the human body and everything. No? I dunno. I'm going to try to find a good picture to use as a reference though. And unfortunately I am terrible with colors. .. I just can't do it very well. This is why I want to go to school lol.

Mahii is my co worker and classmate, that is funny. So do you want something that is like a cartoon or graphic novel? Do you want to draw figures, as in people and animals, mainly or backgrounds, or iconic art. To me it looks like you draw figures mostly so i suggest finding some great poses, copy them, in your style, then create a background for it and i dont mean a landscape necessarily. So if you do a 3d rendered figure make the background plain 2d with lots of colors, something that is in contrast to the figure. And colors are very important i found out, the hard way, you cant just use any colors but complimentary and analogous or monochromatic. Just keep this in mind even though it may be already obvious.

Uhm, basically looking for.. not anime. Haha. I started drawing at 14 in anime and now it feels like it's impossible to stop. :/

I really love how Mahii's art has turned out (and ironically as fuck, you have her on your friend's list) but I really don't know what kind of comic style. Just something.. else.

you seem to have the style for the most part but i think what you need to work on a bit more is your characters composure, fluidity, grace and correct perspectives. what will help you the most is a real life reference of a figure, just to get those key points and then you can manipulate it into your own style. what kind of comic style are you looking for?

Sure, go for it. I'd love to take art classes but I can't.. I don't want to draw like super realistic, I'd like to find some kind of comic book looking style. I dunno..

Anyway, thanks for helping, even though you're not my friend. Haha.
